On October 12, 2026, Hwahae, the Korean skincare ingredient and review service, published a ranking of the K-beauty products that visitors to its global website viewed most between September 1 and October 12, 2026. Traffic from Korea was left out.
The short version: shoppers around the world stopped comparing cushions and sunscreen and started comparing creams, especially ceramide creams. Below is what the report found, followed by four rich Korean creams you can buy on Amazon US today. As always, we don't list prices and we don't promise results.
What Hwahae measured
Hwahae says its global website has passed one million monthly users and offers product ingredient information and Korean user reviews in six languages. The ranking is not a sales chart. It is an internal index built from product page views, where the most-viewed product scores 100 and everything else is scored against it. That makes it a signal of curiosity rather than of what people end up buying.
Hwahae also notes how the curiosity starts. When a product goes viral on TikTok or YouTube, global users come to its site to check the ingredients and reviews, and the page views jump the same week. So a chart like this is a fairly quick read on what people are talking about.
From cushions to creams
From late September, total product views on Hwahae's global site fell by about 20%. Not every category fell at the same speed. Lotions and emulsions dropped only 2%, cleansing gels 6%, cleansing oils 10% and creams 12%. Lip tints and cushions both fell 42%, foundation 40% and sunscreen 32%, about twice the average. Hwahae reads this as the start of fall in the Northern Hemisphere: the question has shifted from how much coverage a product gives to whether it can look after the skin barrier.
The overall top 10 tells the same story. Aestura's AtoBarrier365 Cream, a ceramide cream, was number one on 32 of the 42 days in the data. Tonymoly's Ceramide Mochi Toner, known for its bouncy texture, was third. Gentle cleansers such as beplain's mung bean cleansing foam and a Nomadia panthenol cleansing milk also ranked high, while exfoliating and oil-control products that were strong all summer slid down the list.
The cream that jumped
The biggest move came late. From October 6, the overall number one was not AtoBarrier365 but a PDRN cream from Pyderin. It led on six of the seven days in the second week of October, with an average daily view score about 1.8 times AtoBarrier365's. In the cream ranking, its views rose 1,110%. Hwahae had already seen PDRN rising among serums, and now the ingredient is spreading to creams.
The top of the cream list is still made up of classic moisturizers: AtoBarrier365, S.NATURE's Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream, Torriden's DIVE-IN Soothing Cream and a hyaluronic cream from Wellage. Views of the Torriden and Wellage creams actually rose, by 8% and 5%, while the site as a whole fell. Counting Anua's PDRN cream and Centellian24's Madeca Cream, four of the top 10 creams put an ingredient like PDRN, retinol or centella front and center.
Four rich Korean creams on Amazon US
We haven't checked the creams in Hwahae's ranking on Amazon US, so we don't link them here. The four below come from the same family of rich, ceramide- or centella-based creams. For each one we note the seller its Amazon listing showed, and we opened every page ourselves on October 14, 2026.
ETUDE SoonJung 2x Barrier Repair Cream is the rich face cream from SoonJung, ETUDE's range for sensitive skin. The 60 ml tube is sold by ETUDE Official. The listing names panthenol and madecassoside, which ETUDE calls Panthenoside, and says the formula is made without mineral oil, silicone oil, synthetic fragrance, PEG or parabens.
Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream is the center of the brand's Ceramidin line. This listing is a pack of two 50 ml containers, sold and shipped by Amazon.com under the Dr.Jart+ store. The listing names five ceramides, panthenol and glycerin in the formula.
LANEIGE Cica Sleeping Mask is an overnight mask with a balm-cream texture, fragrance-free according to the listing, built on what LANEIGE calls a Centella Repair Complex. It goes on last at night and comes off in the morning; follow your jar for how often.
Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream + Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser pairs the brand's rich Dynasty Cream with its plum water cleanser, both in 100 ml sizes, listed as sold by BEAUTY OF JOSEON OFFICIAL. The listing says the cream can also be used around the eyes.
How to fit a richer cream into your routine
A cream is the last step of a skincare routine: cleanser, toner, serum, then cream. If your current moisturizer feels too light as the air gets colder, you don't have to change everything. Swap only the last step, use a little less than you think you need, and give it a week or two before you judge it. A sleeping mask like the LANEIGE one rinses off in the morning; LANEIGE's FAQ says it can replace or top your moisturizer.
Read the full ingredient list on the Amazon page or the brand's site before you buy, and add one new product at a time. In the morning, finish with sunscreen; Gatgooun doesn't cover sunscreen picks. If your skin is already irritated, talk to a dermatologist first.
